SOLUTION SPOTLIGHT
Car Wash & Vacuum
The Problem
Vacuum and car wash facilities are an important feature in many multi-unit residential parking areas. In parking lots that are partially open to the public, equipment may be overused or misused by public patrons or transients.
The Aminiti Solution
Aminiti lets you manage who gets to use your car wash and vacuum amenities, and when. Optionally, you can require payment for use of your equipment. Simply install the hardware, and use our management portal to make your equipment work according to your rules.
1
Install an Aminiti device to control power to your vacuum or wash station. Use a solenoid valve to simultaneously control access to wash nozzles.

2
Use the Aminiti web app to create QR signage to enable users to activate the amenity. (Your users can still use the Aminiti app to activate without a QR code.)

3
Choose which access control requirements to impose.
For specific users and groups, set "Allow Only Certain Users" and choose "Setup Groups" to add user email addresses. Added users will receive an invitation to create an Aminiti account, and from then on will have access to the amenity until you revoke it.

Extras
Aminiti offers many other features that help manage public car wash amenities. Here are just a few:
Require proximity for activation. Ensure that users are physically present to activate equipment -- prevent remote misuse of your features.
Enable passcode access for a user group. This will allow you to share a passcode with users who may not wish to sign up for an account. Anybody you share the passcode with will have access until you revoke it.
Set time limits, reducing energy and water waste and unattended operation.
Set operating hours so that the equipment can only be activated during certain times.
Collect payment for public access. Set fees based on duration, or by session. Users pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card. Still, enable free access for staff, tenants, or authorized groups.
